What you will learn: 

In the Suicide Prevention in the Workplace course you will learn to recognize the warning signs and risk factors of suicide in the workplace, as well as how to appropriately follow up when concerns arise. Participants will identify key facts surrounding suicide in Colorado and nationwide, recognize essential warning signs and risk factors associated with suicide risk, and learn effective techniques for asking questions, listening, and providing support to individuals contemplating suicide. Additionally, you will gain strategies to help stabilize your workplace community in the aftermath of a suicide, fostering a supportive environment for all employees.
