What will you learn:

Infectious diseases may be one of many health outcomes that occupational health nurses deal with at their practice. Understanding the epidemiology of infectious diseases will give occupational health nurses a better understanding on how they can control potential workplace exposures. In this module, you will gain a better understanding of infectious diseases and how to use infectious disease epidemiology principles to help reduce transmission in the workplace.
